Job summary

Bishop Stopford School is seeking a Finance Manager to lead and oversee all financial operations. The role collaborates closely with the Headteacher, Senior Leadership Team, Trustees and external auditors to safeguard public funds and sustain the school’s financial health.

Job description

This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join Bishop Stopford School as our new Finance Manager. The main purpose of this role is to lead and manage the financial operations, ensuring robust financial control, compliance with academy trust and statutory requirements, and the provision of high-quality financial information to support strategic decision-making.

The Finance Manager will work closely with the Headteacher, Senior Leadership Team, Trustees and external auditors to ensure the effective stewardship of public funds and the long-term financial sustainability of the School.
