Job summary

The Employment Network is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead the finance function for a Kidlington-based business. This hands-on role covers management accounting, financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, and developing the finance team.

You will partner with the Financial Controller and stakeholders to provide financial insight for commercial decisions. Ideal candidates will have strong management accounting experience, people leadership, and professional qualifications

Qualifications

• Strong management accounting experience.
• Previous people management experience.
• ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified or QBE.
• Strong Excel and analytical skills.
• Commercially minded and able to work with non-finance stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of monthly management accounts
• P&L, balance sheet and cash flow reporting
• Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
• Producing management information, KPIs and financial analysis
• Balance sheet reconciliations and month-end processes
• Business partnering with operational and commercial teams
• Supporting and developing junior members of the finance team
• Improving financial controls, processes and reporting
• Supporting year-end and external audit

Finance Manager

£55,000+ Kidlington, Oxfordshire Permanent

The Employment Network is recruiting for an experienced Finance Manager to join a successful business based in Kidlington.

This is a hands-on position covering management accounting, financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, alongside responsibility for supporting and developing members of the finance team. You'll work closely with the Financial Controller and wider business, providing financial insight to support commercial and operational decision-making.
