Your new role

A vacancy has now arisen for the position of Finance Manager. Reporting directly into the Managing Director, the individual will be a key member of the small commercial team.This is an exciting opportunity to work with a great Brand in a small, friendly, experienced and cohesive team. The role combines bookkeeping with elements of accounts management. You will have real hands-on responsibility for the following key outputs.

  • Managing accounts payable & receivable
  • Credit control
  • Managing in year accruals on trade investment
  • Processing Payroll (Salaries, Pensions, NI contributions, expenses payments)
  • Managing bank payments and reconciliations
  • Completion of journals/ledgers
  • Production of Monthly Trial Balance & Income Statement reports and Quarterly IFRS reports.
  • Maintaining up-to-date and accurate records in compliance with financial regulations.
  • Supporting the year-end audit process


What you'll need to succeed

  • Ability to organise and manage multiple tasks.
  • A diligent approach to your work and strong attention to detail to ensure timely and accurate completion.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles and best practise.
  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting and Finance or AAT Qualified.
  • Proficient in Microsoft offices, especially Excel
  • Experience with SAGE financial software system.

  • Hybrid working available: 3 days per week office-based and 2 days per week from home
  • Annual Salary Offering up to £35,000
  • Bonus potential up to 5% of your annual salary based on personal objectives.
