Job description

Agility is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee the day-to-day financial operations. Working closely with the Director of Finance, the Finance Manager will be responsible for financial planning, analysis, reporting, cost management, and risk management.

Role Responsibilities

  • Financial Planning and Analysis
  • Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Conduct detailed financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis
  • Lead the monthly outsourced payroll process, including pensions.
  • Lead the month-end process to final draft format, including the preparation of the accounts pack.
  • Support quarterly and annual financial reporting processes.
  • Monitor and report on financial performance, highlighting key drivers and variances.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve financial performance.
  • Prepare and present financial reports, dashboards, and performance reviews to business unit leaders.
  • Closely monitor the company's cash flow, including cash reserves and forecasted cash needs.
  • Oversee accounts receivable and payable processes to ensure timely collections
  • Optimize working capital and manage liquidity effectively.
  • Identify financial risks and opportunities within business units

Qualifications

  • ACCA / CIMA
  • Proven experience as a Finance Manager or in a similar financial leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of financial management, accounting principles, and financial regulations.
  • Proficiency in Sage and Xero accounting software and Excel
