Finance Manager

A high growth, private-equity backed client in the tech/SAAS industry is looking for a new Finance Manager to join their team. Reporting into the CFO, this role will manage and develop the transactional finance teams, as well as assisting with cash flow and general accounting matters.

Key Responsibilities

1. Management and development of the transactional finance function including AP & AR teams, providing them with objectives, KPI targets, guidance and general workload management.
2. Develop and implement reporting and KPIs for cash management.
3. Provide training and coaching for AP & AR teams.
4. Manage relationships with internal billings teams and customer account managers.
5. Maintain AP and AR ledgers, ensuring they are efficiently reconciled with supplier statements on a regular basis.
6. General accounting tasks including P&L and BS reconciliations, bank reconciliations, month-end and year-end reporting, as well as assisting with audit procedures.
7. Manage intercompany invoicing processes.
8. Manage relationship with banks, being first point of contact for any queries.
9. Additional ad hoc requirements and duties to support the wider finance function.

The ideal candidate will have experience as a Finance Manager or similar role, with a positive personality and tenacity. Strong experience with transactional finance including AP and AR functions, as well as experience with cash flow, general ledgers and process improvements. Strong communication and interpersonal skills will be important as this role involves managing a team and liaising with key stakeholders. Systems experience will also be required. The ideal candidate will have several years of experience supporting a business through rapid expansion.
