Job description

Morgan McKinley is looking for an experienced Finance Manager to work for a lovely company based in the Haywards Heath West Sussex area. The Finance Manager role is hybrid working and will be responsible for all aspects of accounts - financial management from management accounting, payroll process, financial reporting, cash flow and year end processes.

Location: Hybrid working - Haywards Heath

Salary: 50-60K

Finance Manager duties:

  • Budget control - monitoring and reviewing budgets, balance sheet and cash flow forecasts
  • Developing and updating accounting systems
  • Monitoring and reviewing of suppliers - contract management
  • Payroll - ensure the process of the monthly payroll is accurate
  • Attend meetings and report any financial findings, commercial support etc
  • Manage the month end / year end process
  • Managing an Accounts Assistant

Skills and experience required:

  • Proven experience working in a similar Finance Manager / Head of Finance type role, ideally within the charity / healthcare / education sector
  • Great communication and IT skills
  • Able to review financial contracts and support with ever-changing requirements
