Job description

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to join their dynamic team. This role offers an excellent salary range of £50,000 - £60,000 and is based in Greater Manchester. As the Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the preparation and delivery of accurate and timely management accounts for all sites.

You will lead a team of management accountants, ensure effective consolidation of financial data, and provide insights to support business decisions. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where your expertise will directly impact the success of the business.

• Key Role: Overseeing Management Accounts & Financial Reporting

What you'll do:

• Oversee the preparation of monthly management accounts ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and consistency across all sites.
• Lead the annual budgeting process alongside the FP&A Manager.
• Provide financial support and advice to site managers and operational teams.
• Present financial results to senior leadership providing strategic recommendations based on financial data.
• Lead and develop a team of management accountants.
• Drive improvements in the efficiency and effectiveness of the management accounting process.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards (IFRS) and internal financial controls.

What you bring:

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with at least 1 year of post-qualification experience.
• Proven experience in preparing and overseeing management accounts, financial reporting, and budgeting.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to provide clear insights and recommendations based on financial data.
• Excellent communication skills able to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
• Experience in business partnering working closely with non-finance stakeholders to drive performance.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing a team of accountants.
