Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Lead the day-to-day financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Prepare and present monthly management accounts and financial reports to senior leadership.
Monitor cash flow and implement strategies to ensure financial stability.
Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and company policies.
Oversee internal controls and implement best practices in financial management.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to support business performance and decision-making.
Assist with strategic planning, including cost analysis and investment decisions.
Provide leadership and mentoring to junior members of the finance team.
The Successful Applicant
Skills & Experience
ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified (or equivalent)
Proven experience as a Finance Manager or in a similar role, preferably within a logistics or fast-paced environment.
Strong understanding of financial principles, reporting, and compliance.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Leadership experience with the ability to mentor and develop a team.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships across the business.
What's on Offer
Competitive salary of £55,000 - £63,000 per annum.
