Job description

CMA Recruitment Group is partnering with a growing SME based in Dorchester, Dorset, seeking to appoint a Finance Manager on a permanent basis. This role presents an excellent opportunity to join an established company entering a new phase of expansion, offering real autonomy over the finance department whilst reporting directly to senior management.

Finance Manager responsibilities include:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts with accompanying commentary and analysis
• Ongoing project focussed reporting with analysis vs budgets
• Completion of year-end financial accounts, incorporating statutory and VAT returns
• Cash flow forecasting, with performance analysis
• Handling some transactional accounting tasks as needed
• Regular business partnering with senior management to maximise value
• Day-to-day supervision of a small finance team

The ideal Finance Manager will have:

• Previous experience in a similar Finance Manager capacity
• Background in manufacturing or technology sectors (advantageous)
