Overview

Are you a strategic finance leader with experience in managing finance for a busy events / catering company? My client is a fast-growing independent London events company who is seeking a Finance Manager to join their senior leadership team.

In this pivotal role, you will oversee all financial operations, drive commercial performance, and provide strategic insight to support my clients ambitious growth plans. You'll work closely with the Managing Director and the heads of department, ensuring financial stability while shaping the future of this independent events company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the finance function, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Provide strategic financial advice to the senior management.
  • Develop and implement financial processes to support growth and operational excellence.
  • Oversee cashflow management, contracts, and supplier negotiations.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.
  • Partner with project teams to optimise each events profitability.
About You
  • Qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with proven finance leadership experience.
  • Strong commercial acumen, ideally within events or hospitality sector.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Strategic thinker who can balance big-picture vision with hands-on financial management.
  • Thrives in a creative, entrepreneurial environment.
