Job description
Eventus Recruitment are seeking a Finance Manager for a client based in Cheadle. This is a full time, permanent job, in which you will strive to deliver first class outsourced finance support to local businesses across Greater Manchester. As the company's Finance Manager you will have a strong level of financial knowledge and be used to managing a small team. You will join a friendly and supportive team and benefit from hybrid working once the initial training period has been completed. In addition, you will benefit from 32 days holiday and flexible working hours and onsite parking. Role Responsibilities

The incoming Finance Manager will be responsible for the full outsourced financial services for the client facing team. Key tasks will include:
  • Managing a small team of finance assistants and allocating workloads appropriately
  • Owning the relationship with clients, dealing with any issues quickly and effectively
  • Monthly reporting for clients including cash flow forecasting and budgeting
  • Client bookkeeping and compliance in the Xero accounting software
  • A review of client's year end accounts ready for handover to the client's accountant
  • Ensuring HMRC deadlines are always met, and submissions are accurate
Person Specification

The successful Finance Manager will ideally have AAT Level 4 qualifications or be ACCA / CIMA part qualified as well as:
  • Strong attention to detail and a 'if a job is worth doing, it's worth doing right' type of attitude
  • The ability to build strong relationships with clients becoming a key member of their team
  • The motivation to drive continuous improvements and streamline the processes
  • The desire to get things right and the need to drive your own high standards across the team
  • A genuine love of being busy and working at a fast pace
  • A warm and friendly nature and the love of meeting new people
