Location: Roundstone Surgery, Trowbridge
Hours: 15–20 hours per week (negotiable)

Working closely with our Practice Manager and GP Partners, you will take the lead in managing the financial operations of the practice, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and sound financial governance.

About You:
We’re looking for someone who:
Has a passion for numbers and attention to detail
Demonstrates strong communication and interpersonal skills
Enjoys problem-solving and working both independently and as part of a team
Has financial experience (experience in primary care or NHS advantageous but not essential – training will be provided)
Key Responsibilities (with full training provided):
Accounts & Reporting
Reconcile monthly bank statements (Xero)
Prepare financial reports for partners
Analyse income streams and address inconsistencies
Process claims and incentives (enhanced services, local schemes)
Payroll & Pensions
Oversee payroll processes (using Iris)
Manage NHS Pension Scheme contributions and HMRC submissions
Bookkeeping & Payments
Monitor accounts, income, and expenditure
Manage invoices, BACS payments, and credit control
General Practice Support
Contribute to wider practice operations and projects
