About the job Finance Manager

Our client, a dynamic and award-winning SME, is seeking a Commercial Finance Manager to join their team in Burgess Hill. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, this role offers a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of key financial functions, including management accounting, forecasting, commercial analysis, and decision support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly management accounts, including P&L, budgets, cash flow forecasts, variance analysis, and commentary.
  • Partner with departments across the business, providing financial insight and support to aid decision-making.
  • Offer guidance on the financial impact of business strategies and initiatives.
  • Conduct financial performance analysis to support medium and long-term business planning.
  • Interpret and present financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Oversee day-to-day finance operations, including sales ledger, purchase invoice payments, and expense processing.
What Were Looking For:
  • CIMA qualified (or equivalent), or QBE/part-qualified with 3-5 years experience.
  • Experience in manufacturing is a plus.
  • Strong Excel skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Commercially minded, proactive, and full of ideas to drive business growth.
