Position Details

• Role: Finance Manager
• Rate: £56,089
• Location: Bristol (Remote with occasional office travel)
• Work Type: Permanent

Job Description

The responsibilities include:

1. Providing financial advice and guidance to improve business performance.
2. Managing financial and management accounting services such as planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
3. Progressing key internal and external financial documents.
4. Publishing annual budget monitoring timetable and briefing finance teams.
5. Managing resource allocation.

The Successful Candidate

The ideal candidate will possess:

• CCAB qualification (or equivalent) with post-qualification experience.
• Experience leading a diverse finance team.
• Stakeholder engagement experience, resolving accountancy issues, and optimizing resource use.
• Strong knowledge of local government risk management.
