Job description

Our client is looking for an experienced and proactive Finance Manager to join their growing team in Bracknell. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys being hands-on in a dynamic environment and is keen to play a key role in shaping and supporting the company's continued growth.

The successful candidate will be fully involved in day-to-day financial operations, while also helping to implement improvements, drive efficiency, and support strategic financial decision-making.

Job Title: Finance Manager
Location: Bracknell
Salary: £55,000 - £65,000
Type: Full-time, Permanent

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage the preparation and timely submission of VAT returns
* Oversee and reconcile CIS payments in line with HMRC regulations
* Provide clear financial analysis and insights to guide business decisions
* Prepare accurate financial statements, budgets, and reports
* Handle invoicing, accounts payable, and credit control processes
* Maintain strong relationships with regular suppliers and manage receivables
* Support year-end accounts preparation and external audits
* Ensure accurate recording of all financial transactions and company expenses
* Assist with the weekly payroll process
* Lead the finance team's daily operations
* Act as the key contact for external auditors during annual audits

What We're Looking For:

* Proven experience in a Finance Manager role or similar financial position
* Strong knowledge of finance systems
* Experience with CIS payments and VAT processes (preferred)
* Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
* A collaborative approach with strong communication skills
* A proactive mindset with the desire to implement change and contribute to business growth
