Job summary

Future Engineering Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Finance Manager in Peterborough. You will own the finance function in a growing engineering manufacturing group, driving reporting, cash flow management and strategic financial planning.

You'll lead a small team, oversee payroll, VAT and compliance, and work with Sage 50 and Excel on monthly accounts, forecasts and board packs. Commutable to Peterborough/Gainsborough, immediate start with £45,000–£50,000 + pension and progression.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading the finance function.
• Strong Excel and financial reporting skills.
• Experience with payroll, VAT and statutory compliance.
• Ability to develop cash flow forecasts and manage working capital.
• Experience with audits, insurance, banking relationships and controls.
• Leadership experience managing a finance team.
• Manufacturing or engineering sector experience is advantageous.
• Commutable to Peterborough.

• Experience managing payroll, VAT, budgets and cash flow.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing finance teams.
• Manufacturing or engineering experience would be advantageous.
• Commutable to Peterborough.
