Exciting New Finance Manager Role | Aberdeen | Full Time, Permanent | up to £65,000 + benefits

Your new company

Hays are delighted to be working in partnership with a nationally recognised and market leading construction company who are the driving force behind some exciting projects within Scotland. Due to continued growth and the rapidly evolving project they have undertaken, the requirement for a full time permanent Finance Manager has become available in their Aberdeen office.

Your new role

In your new role, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities including reporting, managing budgets, and financial controls. You will be reporting to the Senior Finance Manager providing financial planning, analysis of project costs, cashflow management, coordinating audits and providing strategic financial guidance to support the company's growth and profitability. This role will be heavily involved in presenting financial information to non-financial stakeholders across the various project sites, so an interest in project accounting and travelling across the Aberdeenshire area to meet business stakeholders would be preferable.

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed, you will be a qualified accountant with demonstrated experience in operational finance roles across a significant period of time. You will be someone who brings a positive attitude, willingness to liaise closely with internal and external stakeholders as well as having an interest in project driven finance including cost control and budget management.

What you'll get in return

In return, you will be offered a competitive base salary of up to £65,000 plus significant company benefits including a company car, annual bonus, defined pension scheme as well as initiatives that can benefit you and your loved ones. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is ambitious to grow with an organisation and become part of a senior management team that are positively driving an impactful project with guaranteed longevity.
