Talentedge is proud to be exclusively partnering with a rapid scale ClimateTech business on a Finance Lead position, reporting to an exceptional CFOO.

As Finance Lead, you’ll work closely with the passionate & ambitious Co-Founders and the wider C-Suite to scale the business.

This role is ideal if you are as commercial as you are technical, passionate about ClimateTech, and love startups!

Key responsibilities:

  1. Own the day-to-day finance function, including all financial reporting and transactional finance.
  2. Implement scalable processes, controls, and systems, leveraging technology to automate tasks.
  3. Develop strategic, commercial, and financial objectives for the business.
  4. Maintain and evolve financial models, including revenue pipeline, multi-scenario analysis, and inventory forecasting.
  5. Project procurement needs with a clear and auditable methodology.
  6. Partner with cross-functional teams, especially Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Distribution, and external partners.
  7. Collaborate with the CFOO on future VC fundraising rounds.

Profile:

  1. Qualified accountant.
  2. Experience in a heavily-CAPEX focused startup/scaleup environment.
  3. Strategic, inquisitive, and hands-on thinker.
  4. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data visualization, with advanced Excel (capable of building complex financial models).
  5. Experience with Xero and related ecosystem apps.
