Job Purpose

This role will be an integral member of the team based in Saudi Arabia, responsible for managing operations related to the aftermarket division in Saudi Arabia. The role includes full responsibility for the period-end close process for the division, requiring strong financial support and adherence to accounting governance, with a key focus on revenue recognition standards. The individual will ensure compliance with local Saudi Arabia legal and regulatory requirements and work closely with the operations team to achieve KPIs and operational performance targets.

Job Description

  1. Partner with project and functional managers regarding project costing, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting.
  2. Support the Senior Finance Manager in activities such as monthly reporting, ad hoc financial analysis, and forecasting.
  3. Manage revenue, margin, and invoicing forecasting for the entire Aftermarket business monthly.
  4. Identify and analyze operational improvements as appropriate.
  5. Lead change initiatives to ensure benefits are delivered.
  6. Investigate and analyze any cost overruns in the aftermarket division.
  7. Maximize cash flow and performance through strong financial controls.
  8. Maintain compliance with financial standards and participate in audits.
  9. Prepare monthly forecasts focusing on the Aftermarket legal entity.
  10. Perform balance sheet reconciliations and review quarterly P&L statements.
  11. Review asset utilization and ensure proper asset management.
  12. Review and control bank payments and invoices.

Qualifications and Skills

You are meant for this job if:

Must have:

  • An accounting qualification with solid knowledge, especially in revenue & margin recognition, invoicing, cash flow, and working capital. Experience in project accounting, ideally in manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with IFRS and strong Excel skills.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP) is advantageous.
  • Good interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Self-motivated, team-oriented, and capable of working independently.
