The Royal College of Nursing seeks an External Adviser for its Finance & Investment Committee. This role requires a strong finance background to ensure effective resource use and value for money. Responsibilities include overseeing strategic plans, managing budgets, and monitoring investment performance. Suitable candidates will have experience in financial compliance and investment strategy.
Time Commitment:Three committee meetings per year, alternating between online and in-person in London

External Advisers provide independent and objective specialist knowledge and skills to help shape and inform the work of the RCN Committees.The purpose of the Finance & Investment Committee is to provide objective scrutiny of the Group’s financial performance and investment function to ensure that resources are being used effectively, and that value for money and cost improvement is achieved across the Group.
