During the programme, you’ll gain hands‑on experience working alongside Finance professionals, applying your skills to meaningful work and learning how financial insight helps drive decisions across the bank.

Over the course of this eight‑week programme, you can look forward to:

At the end of the placement, we’ll assess what you’ve learned. If successful, you could be offered a place on our Finance graduate programme, giving you the opportunity to continue your development and take the next step in your career.

Entry requirements

To be eligible for our Finance summer internship, you’ll need:

• To be in your penultimate year of university
• To be on course to achieve a 2:1 in your degree
• An interest in understanding how businesses make decisions and create value for customers
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• The ability to communicate clearly and build positive relationships with others
• Attention to detail and a willingness to learn
• Initiative, curiosity and the confidence to explore new ideas
