Job summary

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is seeking an Analyst based in London to contribute to its sustainable infrastructure group, focusing on energy projects across CEE and SEE. You will be involved in origination, structuring, execution, implementation and monitoring of debt and equity investments in renewable energy, storage, and grid infrastructure.

Under guidance from senior bankers, you will perform due diligence, financial modelling, and policy-compliant analysis,

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree; master’s preferred or equivalent experience.
Professional qualifications such as ACA, CFA, ACCA, or CIMA desirable.
Quantitative and financial modelling skills are critical.
Credit analysis with understanding of accounting principles.
Proficient with Microsoft Office and financial modelling in spreadsheets.
Good written and oral English; local language knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

Support structuring and execution of transactions with research and financial analysis.
Prepare terms of reference and internal approvals for projects.
Communicate with internal units, clients and stakeholders at the operational level.
Ensure tasks are completed within deadlines and aligned with Bank policies.
Monitor project progress, disbursement, and covenant compliance.
Assist with donor reporting and progress reporting for TC assignments.
