Britvic plc in Hemel Hempstead is recruiting a Finance Graduate for a three-year rotation programme. Over three 12-month rotations in core finance teams, you’ll gain hands-on experience, build business acumen, and handle real responsibilities with support from experienced professionals.

During the programme you’ll study for CIMA or ACCA with full funding, possibly take an international secondment, and join a company that offers a product allowance, private medical, life assurance, a bonus

• Minimum 2:1 degree across any discipline, with clear motives for Finance
• Good understanding of financial and accounting principles
• Proactive, curious and confident asking questions

Responsibilities

• Assist with month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations
• Prepare complex reports for stakeholders and management
• Post journals in SAP accounting system and support audits
• Contribute to statutory accounts preparation and regulatory submissions
• Support external auditors with audit requests and documentation

About the role

• Over the three-year programme, Finance Graduates complete three 12-month rotations across core finance teams, gaining hands-on experience and a broad understanding of how finance supports and drives the business.
• You’ll complete three structured rotations across core finance teams, with each rotation lasting 12 months. This rotational approach is designed to give you deep, hands-on exposure as well as a broad understanding of how finance supports and drives the business.
• Across each rotation, you’ll have real responsibility, structured learning objectives and support from experienced finance professionals, helping you build a well-rounded skill set, strong business acumen and a clear view of where you want to specialise.
• Some graduates may also be given the opportunity to complete an international secondment in Copenhagen, providing exposure to the wider Carlsberg Group and the chance to build experience in an international finance environment.
• Alongside your rotations, we will fully fund and support your professional Finance qualification, either CIMA or ACCA. Completing this qualification is a requirement of the programme, with dedicated study time, resources and guidance provided to help you succeed.
• We will be looking for new joiners to start on 26th July 2027. If you have any annual leave booked during that time, please make your recruiter aware.

What to expect

• Work effectively with internal and external stakeholders with confidence
• Prepare complex reports throughout the month
• Present to key stakeholders on financial trends with clear recommendations on next steps
• Process and analyse large data sets, including invoices and system inputs, to support accurate reporting and wider finance processes.
• Prepare and post journals into SAP accounting system
• Assist with preparation of balance sheet reconciliations
• Assist with preparation of statutory accounts
• Liaise with external auditors to provide audit support
• Preparation of survey submissions for Office of National Statistics and other regulatory bodies

Experience and Key Attributes

• A minimum 2:1 degree and strong academic background - across any discipline, but with clear motives for a career in Finance.
