Job summary

Tarmac Trading Limited, part of CRH, invites graduates to join its Finance Graduate Programme in Solihull. You will rotate through finance functions, gain hands-on experience, and work towards ACCA or CIMA qualification with full funding.

The programme combines on-site and remote learning, with mentorship, a Graduate Core Skills Development Programme, and exposure to monthly reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis across the business.

Qualifications

• Final year or recent graduate with a 2:1 in Business, Finance or STEM
• Examples of work experience or volunteering relevant to finance
• Passionate about finance and pursuing ACCA or CIMA
• Analytical, organized and numerate with a strong communicator

Responsibilities

• Rotate through key finance functions to gain broad exposure
• Support monthly reporting, budgeting and forecasting activities
• Build relationships across finance and the wider business
• Use financial systems to analyse performance and identify trends
• Visit operational sites to understand finance in delivery
• Contribute to process improvement and efficiency initiatives

This role is based at our head office T3 in Solihull.

What you’ll be doing

Throughout your time on the programme, you’ll rotate through different departments tailored to your strengths and interests. This means you’ll gain a broad understanding of finance and how it supports every part of our business.

A typical day might include:

• Supporting monthly reporting, budgeting, and forecasting activities
• Building relationships across finance and the wider business
• Helping teams make informed decisions that improve profitability and customer experience
• Using financial systems and tools to analyse performance and identify trends
• Visiting operational sites to understand how finance connects with real-world delivery
• Contributing to a positive culture by challenging processes and promoting continuous improvement
• Taking part in our Graduate Core Skills Development Programme to build your business knowledge and professional network

Your Development
