About The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking business committed to financial excellence, innovation, and people development. We are looking for an ambitious and driven finance graduate to join our structured graduate programme, designed to provide broad exposure across key finance functions and generous study support to obtain a professional financial qualification.

Over 24 months, you will develop a strong foundation in financial operations, reporting, forecasting, and business strategy. You will rotate across multiple finance teams, gaining hands-on experience and working with senior finance professionals. You will split your time between working in the Chorley office and working from home.

This role has a September 2025 start.

Key Rotations

  • Accounts Payable & Receivable: Learn the fundamentals of invoice processing, payments, cash flow management, and credit control.
  • Central Finance: Gain experience in VAT returns, CIS tax, cost allocations, and financial audits.
  • FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis): Develop an understanding of forecast consolidation, budgeting and planning, and cashflow and liquidity management.
  • Management Accounting: Assist with accruals and prepayments, management accounts preparation including revenue recognition, balance sheet control and reconciliations, and variance analysis.
  • Finance Business Partnering: Work closely with operational and commercial teams to provide financial insights, support strategic decision-making, provide accurate financial forecasting, and improve financial performance.

About You

We would like you to be graduating in 2025 or already graduated, holding at least a 2:2 degree. A degree in Accountancy/Finance or a commercially oriented/mathematical subject would be advantageous. You should be computer literate, possess strong written and oral communication skills, and be able to work both independently and as part of a team. We also value organisation, self-drive, attention to detail, and a desire for continuous development.
