This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has already gained some initial experience in finance and is now looking to build a long-term career as a qualified accountant. You will gain broad exposure across multiple areas of finance, while taking on genuine responsibility and working towards a professional qualification.

The role is designed for someone who is ambitious, analytical and keen to bring fresh ideas to the finance function. You will be encouraged to challenge existing processes, identify opportunities for improvement and contribute to the continued development of the business.

  • Support day-to-day financial processes and reporting requirements
  • Identify opportunities to improve and streamline existing finance processes
  • Bring fresh ideas and a proactive approach to continuous improvement
  • Build relationships with finance and non-finance stakeholders
  • Take on increasing responsibility throughout the 3-year graduate programme
  • Work towards a professional accountancy qualification with study support provided
  • Travel to other UK and international sites when required
  • Potentially support other business locations for extended periods as part of the graduate programme
Key Objectives
  • Develop a broad understanding of finance and accounting
  • Progress towards becoming a qualified accountant
  • Identify and support improvements to existing finance processes
  • Gain commercial exposure across multiple areas of the business
  • Build the skills and experience needed to take on increased responsibility
About You
  • Degree in Accountancy & Finance, Economics, Maths, Physics or another numerical-based subject
  • Ideally 1–2 years of experience within a finance role after graduating
  • Previous experience within Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable or as an Accounts Assistant would be beneficial
  • Highly numerate with strong analytical skills
  • Commercially minded with a genuine ambition to build a long-term career in finance
  • Keen to progress towards becoming a qualified accountant
  • Proactive and comfortable challenging existing processes and suggesting improvements
  • Ambitious, intelligent and hungry for responsibility
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Flexible and willing to travel to other sites across the UK, Europe and the US when required
  • Open to potentially spending extended periods at other business locations as part of the programme
  • A full UK driving licence would be highly beneficial due to the location of the site & travel
  • Study support towards a professional accountancy qualification

  • Exposure across a broad range of finance functions
  • Opportunities for international travel
  • Potential to work across different UK and international sites
  • Genuine progression and development opportunities
Summary

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Finance Graduate who is serious about building a long-term career in accountancy. You will gain broad exposure across finance, work towards becoming a qualified accountant and develop the skills needed to progress into a more senior finance role.

The business is looking for someone who will bring fresh thinking, challenge existing ways of working and play an active role in improving finance processes, rather than simply following the status quo.
