Job summary

BUUK Infrastructure invites applications for a Finance Graduate to join our group and learn to become the finance leader of the future. You will cover group finances, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting while supporting non-financial leaders across the BUUK group.

The three-stage graduate scheme begins with a telephone interview, followed by an Assessment Centre at our head office in Woolpit, Suffolk, on Tuesday 1st December. A driving licence is desirable.

Qualifications

• A degree (or equivalent) in a business/finance related subject with a minimum 2.1.
• Ability to deliver high quality support to internal and external stakeholders.
• Customer focussed and able to build rapport with stakeholders.

We are looking for a Finance Graduate who would like to help us reach our mission to "earn customer loyalty and drive business growth by providing consistently excellent service".

(The graduate scheme follows a three-stage interview process. Candidates who are successful at the telephone interview stage will be invited to attend an Assessment Centre at our head office in Woolpit, Suffolk on Tuesday 1st December. Please note that this is currently the only Assessment Centre scheduled).

Purpose of this role

To learn on the job and off the job skills which will enable the development of the candidate to become the finance leader of the future.

Your key responsibilities are

• Develop an understanding of the finances of the whole BUUK group.
• Develop an understanding of finance processes and systems.
• Develop an understanding financial reporting.
• Develop relationships with key stakeholders to ensure continued financial support is provided to non-financial leaders.
• Develop an understanding of budgeting and forecasting.

Qualifications

A degree (or equivalent) in a business/finance related subject. You will be on track to achieve, or have achieved a minimum of a 2.1.

Experience/Knowledge

• Ability and desire to deliver the highest quality support to internal and external stakeholders.
• Customer focussed.

• Demonstrate strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Excellent listening skills, the ability to build rapport and empathise with customers.

Desirable

• Experience of using finance systems.

Conditions of Employment

You will hold a driving licence or be in the process of obtaining one.
