A leading financial services company is looking for a Finance Governance & Control Consultant for a 6-month fixed-term contract. This role involves coordinating Audit activities, managing Banking documentation, and driving quality assurance efforts. Ideal candidates will have experience in Audit and risk governance, excellent communication skills, and strong attention to detail. The salary is around £30,000 with several benefits including a bonus opportunity and Aviva-funded medical benefits.

6-month Fixed-term Contract
Location: Norwich, Sheffield, Bristol or York based (50% hybrid working)
Salary: circa £30,000 DOE

You’ll ideally have experience in working with Auditors and may have experience of quality assurance or process improvement activity in a Banking and/or Payments environment – and you’re confident working both independently and as part of a team. A bit about the job:
You’ll join our Payments & Banking team in Accounts Payable, Treasury & Collections (APT&C). We support a wide range of Aviva businesses across the UK and Ireland. Your role will focus on strengthening our risk and governance framework.
You’ll primarily co-ordinate and lead our Audit activity working closely with our internal teams and our external Auditors to meet our Audit requirements. You’ll additionally manage our key Banking documentation and drive our quality assurance activity. It’s a role that helps us deliver safe, efficient services for our customers and colleagues.
