Job summary

Birchman Group Ltd. is seeking an experienced SAP Finance Consultant with S/4HANA to join our UK team in a hybrid role (onsite/remote).

You should have 5+ years in SAP Finance, with hands-on S/4HANA life cycle experience, and expertise in FI/CO, GL, AP/AR, and Fixed Assets. Excellent client communication and ability to train junior staff are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in SAP Finance consulting.
• Experience with S/4 HANA projects – at least 1 full life cycle on a S/4HANA project.
• Strong understanding of finance and accounting processes.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP FI and CO modules, including configuration and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to identify business requirements and translate them into SAP Finance solutions.
• Design and configure SAP Financial modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Fixed Assets.
• Provide guidance and support to junior consultants.
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members to manage project expectations and ensure client satisfaction.
• Conduct training sessions and knowledge transfer to client teams.
• Lead workshops and meetings to gather client requirements and ensure clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Configure SAP FICO modules (FI – Financial Accounting, CO – Controlling) to meet client specifications and best practices.
• Test and validate system functionality to ensure accurate and efficient financial operations.
• Provide ongoing support and training to clients after go-live.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP technologies and trends.
• Collaborate with technical teams to integrate SAP with other enterprise systems.
• Document processes and solutions for future reference and knowledge sharing.
