Job summary

Citi is seeking a Senior Business Architect (VP) to define and evolve Finance functional architecture, anchoring it to core business processes and data dependencies. You will partner with Finance, Shared Services, and data teams to drive transformation with AI and automation at the forefront.

Responsibilities include guiding governance, aligning investments to target state, and delivering clear current-state and future-state designs for Finance operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in an engineering and/or architecture capacity supporting Finance or related business functions.
• Track record of contributing to cross-functional business process improvement and enterprise architecture change.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Finance and Shared Services to document current and future-state business architectures anchored to processes and functions.
• Work with data architects to map data dependencies and align data architecture with business objectives.
• Engage technical partners to align investments to target state architecture and flag deviations as needed.
• Contribute to architecture principles supporting straight-through processing and accurate financial reporting.
• Apply Citi architecture principles and guide engineering teams on practical implementation.
• Support governance processes like Design Authorities and compliance.
• Identify opportunities to embed AI/ML/GenAI within Finance processes with proper governance.
• Contribute to capability mapping, maturity assessments, and centralized knowledge repositories.
• Assist in continuous improvement of the business architecture discipline through best practices and tooling.
