SAP S/4 HANA Finance Enterprise Architect

The role of the SAP S/4 HANA Finance Enterprise Architect is to develop the UK Firm's technology strategy for the Finance and Engagement Management domain and translate this into a roadmap that determines investment priorities and transformation initiatives. The strategy should promote seamless customer and employee experiences, leverage modern, cloud-based technologies, support typical Finance use cases, and facilitate the reuse of technology components while phasing out legacy systems. The role also involves executing and governing the strategy, ensuring solutions are fit for purpose and standards are maintained.

Key Responsibilities

1. Maintain core knowledge of Finance and Engagement Management platforms, technology trends, and the KPMG technology ecosystem; build FEM roadmaps and solutions; govern relevant technology choices; and cover other domains as needed.
2. Develop and maintain expert knowledge of KPMG's technology ecosystem, analyze business requirements, and advise or learn from other firms or clients on FEM applications.
3. Manage application portfolio, including inventory, lifecycle, and decommissioning for efficiency and cost savings.
4. Build and maintain FEM technology roadmaps and architecture, ensure data accuracy, and align with broader technology strategies. Support solution design, technology selection, and stakeholder influence to adopt suitable solutions.
5. Participate in technology assurance processes, enforce standards, reduce technical debt, and support enterprise architecture tools.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

• Expertise in SAP S/4HANA Cloud, SAP Finance, SAP Concur, SAP Treasury, SAP Compliance, and related technologies.
• Understanding of SAP BTP, SAP Analytics Cloud, and Finance/Engagement Management processes.
• Solution architecture experience, EA governance knowledge, and understanding of technical debt management.
• Experience with Agile SDLC, enterprise architecture tools like Alfabet, Aris, and business analysis techniques.
• Strong communication, leadership, and networking skills; ability to work with ambiguity.

Desirable

• Knowledge of Business Architecture, modeling languages (UML, ArchiMate, BPMN), offshore team leadership, GDPR, ISO 27001, ITIL, TOGAF, and a Bachelor's degree.
