Overview

Marks Sattin are working with a PE-backed Professional Services business to appoint a strategic Finance Director, partnering and working closely with the senior management and private equity house.

As the number two to the CFO, you will lead and develop the finance function, managing the finance team to ensure robust financial reporting, systems, process and controls. The role will involve providing strategic guidance on budgeting, cash flow, and scenario planning, while building a finance capability that aligns with the future needs of the business.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the finance function and team to deliver robust financial reporting, systems, processes and controls.
• Provide strategic guidance on budgeting, cash flow, and scenario planning.
• Partner with senior management and the private equity house to align finance capability with business needs.

Qualifications

• A qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/ACMA), ideally chartered.
• Background in Professional Services, Financial Services and/or people-based business.
• Strong communication skills to present to investors and shareholders.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• High motivation with a can-do attitude and willingness to be involved at all levels.
