Job summary

ARML, a Family Office / Property Investment portfolio near Uxbridge, is seeking an experienced Part Time Finance Director to oversee finance across the family office and property portfolio.

Reporting to the principal, you will provide operational and administrative support, manage financial reporting across entities, prep annual accounts with auditors, and monitor cash flow and tax implications of investments.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/ACMA/CIMA) with 25+ years in property or family office.
• Excellent communication and discretion at senior levels.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Providing operational and administrative support to the family, acting as a gatekeeper.
• Management of financial reporting for various entities, overseeing one staff.
• Oversee the preparation of annual accounts for all entities, liaising with external auditors.
• Evaluating the cash flow requirements and tax ramifications of any investment decisions
• Preparation of agendas and minutes/records of family office meetings.
• Oversee relationship with wealth managers, monitoring investment returns.
• Oversee maintenance and refurbishment of properties across various locations.
• Liaise with Advisors, Legal and Insurance representatives on the principals' behalf.
• Ensure all legislative and company secretarial regulations and duties are dealt with.
• Comply with fiduciary duties appertaining to directors.
• Carry out research and manage ad-hoc projects as and when required.

Reporting to the HNW Family Office principal, the part time Finance Director role will oversee finance across the family office and property portfolio and will include:

• Oversee the preparation of annual accounts for all entities, liaising with external auditors.
• Evaluating the cash flow requirements and tax ramifications of any investment decisions
• Preparation of agendas and minutes/records of family office meetings.
• Oversee the relationship with wealth managers, monitoring investment returns.
• Oversee maintenance and refurbishment of properties across various locations.

This role requires an accomplished qualified Accountant / Finance Director / Financial Controller / Partner (ACA, ACCA, ACMA, CIMA) with at least 25 years' experience from a similar background - Property/Real Estate Investment, Family Office or Accountancy Practice.

You should have a proven track record at Finance Director, Financial Controller or Partner level in an environment that requires the strictest of confidentiality and a high degree of discretion. You will have excellent communication skills, strong problem-solving ability, be self-motivated and have a strong sense of commitment and loyalty.
