Job summary

EWI Recruitment is seeking a Finance Director - Operations & Control to lead financial operations across a multi-site organisation. You will drive financial control, reporting, planning and governance and partner with senior leaders to enable sound commercial decisions.

The role requires post-qualification experience, strong technical knowledge of accounting standards, and the ability to translate numbers into actionable insight while building a high-performing finance team.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with substantial post-qualification experience in a senior finance leadership position.
• Experience in multi-site, operational or commercially focused organisations.
• Strong technical knowledge of financial control, accounting standards, budgeting, forecasting and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end and year-end processes, managing cash flow and working capital.
• Oversee production of management accounts, forecasts, budgets and statutory reporting.
• Provide insight into risks, trends and opportunities and challenge performance.
