Job description

We are seeking an experienced and analytical Financial Director to join us.

NQA provides accredited certification, training, and support services to help customers improve processes, performance, and products and services. We have issued over 50,000 certificates to clients in over 90 countries, resulting in a yearly revenue of around 100 million Euro. NQA was acquired by Kiwa in 2024, a global leader in the Testing, Inspecting, and Certification (TIC) sector, based in the Netherlands. For NQA UK, we are looking for a Finance Director who will initially also support the US. As Finance Director, you will be part of the global NQA management team, reporting to the president of NQA based in the US, with a dotted line to the Kiwa UK Group CFO. This role offers potential career advancement within Kiwa. It is a remote role with some travel.

Overview:

This role will lead, manage, and continually improve the global financial activities related to NQA and Unitek’s scope of operations.

We are seeking an experienced and analytical Financial Director for a large international TIC industry company in a newly established business sector division, with strong numerical skills to drive our organization’s financial objectives.

  • Managing the Finance Team
  • Overseeing internal controls

  • Assisting in the full M&A process for potential acquisitions
  • Ensuring M&A is well integrated into business processes
  • Ensuring financial back-offices at Kiwa UK and Kiwa North America are well organized into the Finance National Shared Service Centre (NSC) in the UK and USA

Responsibilities:

Your skills in sound financial planning, coupled with your ability to direct financial assets, will help our organization implement effective financial strategies, manage debt, improve revenue, maintain a healthy financial position, and oversee internal and external financial reporting.

  • Significant experience in a finance leadership role
  • Proven track record of managing multiple projects successfully
  • Strategic planning experience at the executive level
  • Experience leading and mentoring a finance team
  • High integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws, and best practices
  • Familiarity with financial regulations and standards
  • Analytical mind with strategic capabilities
  • Proficiency in accounting software
