Job description

The Finance Director (Nomad) plays a pivotal role as a member of the Executive Committee, offering strategic financial leadership and guidance across the global Nomad business. This role is responsible for delivering accurate, transparent financial information and performance KPIs to both the Executive Committee and the wider organisation, enabling informed decision-making. We look to you for:

  1. Being an Executive Committee member for the Nomad business, providing financial guidance and strategy.
  2. Ensuring the integrity of Project Financial Information & Performance; delivering quality and timely information for the global Nomad business.
  3. Driving the Nomad 5-year strategic plan and providing relevant financial indicators to assess performance.
  4. Validating Nomad's budget, 3-Year Plan, Rolling Forecast, and Reporting.
  5. Ensuring Financial controls and governance adhere to legal and internal Alstom requirements.
  6. Serving as the main interface with Alstom Financial functions at Product line and Regional levels for all Nomad topics.
  7. Evaluating and approving all financials for the Nomad Bid process.
  8. Developing strategic action plans to optimise performance and implement corrective actions for project performance, budget adherence, and key KPIs.
  9. Reporting to the Alstom Supervisory Board on financial performance during the monthly Business review.
  10. Driving the Nomad / Alstom Integration and SIMPLE project.
  11. Providing Alstom with accurate Origin and Destination reporting.
  12. Ensuring adherence to Nomad and Alstom DOA.
  13. Leading and developing the Nomad Finance team and its processes.
  14. Managing the Nomad Cash position, optimising internal and external financial flows, and Capital optimisation exercises.
