· Deliver high-quality financial insights and analysis to support strategic planning and enable effective decision-making across the organisation.
· Lead the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and future growth strategies.
· Drive the development and maintenance of robust financial systems, policies, and internal controls to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
· Collaborate closely with colleagues across departments to enhance financial understanding, embed strong financial management practices, and support continuous improvement.
· Support the implementation and ongoing development of financial systems to streamline processes, improve data accuracy, and enable real-time reporting.
· Provide clear cost and contribution analysis across departments, projects, and campuses to inform resource allocation and strategic investment decisions.
· Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of monthly management accounts, accompanied by meaningful commentary and insights tailored to key stakeholders.
· Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent).
· A minimum of 5 years' experience in senior/director level finance roles.
· Proven experience in financial leadership within the not-for-profit or education sector.
· £500 - £750 depending on experience.
· 3-6 month contract.
