Finance Director | High-Growth D2C Retailer

Location: London | Hybrid

We’re partnered with a disruptive, design-led D2C retail brand that’s rapidly scaling in the UK and beyond. With a loyal customer base, high repeat revenue, and backing from top-tier investors, they’ve built a platform ready for the next phase of growth.

As Finance Director, you’ll report directly to the Founder, taking full ownership of the finance function both strategically and operationally. You’ll join at a pivotal point, helping to shape decision-making at board level and leading a high-performing finance team across all levels.

Responsibilities include:

• Advising the Founder and leadership team on financial and commercial matters
• Leading the finance function with timely and accurate reporting, compliance, and controls
• Managing budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow across the company
• Driving margin improvements and cost efficiencies
• Preparing board packs, investor reports, and supporting fundraising activities
• Overseeing daily finance operations, including management accounts and financial reporting
• Building and developing a scalable finance team
• Implementing systems, processes, and controls for sustainable growth

Qualifications and experience:

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with post-qualification experience in a fast-paced consumer or retail environment
• Experience leading a finance team through periods of high growth
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence non-finance stakeholders
• Hands-on and strategic, comfortable with detail and at board level
• Experience in D2C, eCommerce, or retail sectors preferred
