Finance Director for an established manufacturing company in North Wales

Hays Senior Finance are working with a growing and successful company in the Gwynedd area who are looking to appoint an experienced and proven Finance Director. The company can trace its roots back nearly 50 years and has grown significantly via acquisition and by entering new markets. They continue to invest and innovate which ensures they stay at the top and ahead of their competitors.

As Finance Director you would join the senior leadership team and directly manage a team of six in accounts. You will lead from the front and still have a hands-on role responsible for ensuring all month and year-end accounts are produced on time. As a member of the leadership team you will be involved in all senior decisions. In addition to running the finance department there are numerous projects planned for the next two years including a new ERP system and further CAPEX into the site.

We are looking to speak to qualified accountants with proven experience who can work in the Gwynedd area. We are not looking for remote workers or candidates who want to rent in the local area and commute from further afield. Hybrid working is available but you should have a permanent base in the area in order to truly add value to the site and leadership team. The package is dependent on existing experience and a benefits package can be tailored to the right candidate.
