About this Role

The Finance Director role will be responsible for delivering robust financial infrastructure and process improvements to the business and helping us position Fideres for a period of rapid scaling and growth.

Key Responsibilities

Some notable responsibilities will include:

  • Manage accounting process improvements and controls and put forward recommendations on automation of processes
  • Identify and roll out improvements to our financial systems/technology, processes and controls (i.e. accounting, time tracking, billing systems)
  • Identify providers who can provide international payroll services, to serve all of our international offices
  • Consolidate and rationalize our banking needs
  • Negotiate with finance providers/banks any required lending facilities
  • Oversee our internal financial and business wide reporting including forecasting and budgeting
  • Identify and roll out necessary improvements to consolidate our international accounting needs
  • Review our systems for tax filing
  • Provide recommendations on our legal business structure model and scaling for profitability
  • Work closely with our Head of People and COO to align hiring plans with financials needed to make management decisions
  • Lead and mentor the Finance team

Key Skills and Attributes

The successful candidate will have:

  • A track record of scaling up SMEs
  • Prior experience of working for an international business, ideally with a US presence would be advantageous
  • Proven experience as a Finance Director
  • Experience of international business structures
  • Ability and willingness to be both strategic and hands-on
  • Commercial and intellectual acumen
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Able to handle relationships and change management sensitively
  • Incredible attention to detail
  • Ability to mentor the team
