Finance Director – FinTech scaleup

Hybrid working (London City office 2 days p/w)

£150k/200k (depending on experience) + equity

Talentedge is supporting a rapidly scaling FinTech business (high volume, low value transactional model) with a newly created Finance Director position.

You will work closely with an impressive CFO, a former Tier 1 Management Consultant, playing a key role in driving domestic and international growth.

This role offers a company-wide remit within a leading FinTech emerging from London. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Building scalable processes, controls, and systems from scratch
  2. Managing monthly management, annual statutory, and FCA regulatory reporting
  3. Partnering cross-functionally, especially with GTM, Product, and Engineering teams
  4. Supporting structured and secured debt funding processes
  5. Leading budgeting, forecasting, planning, and commercial finance initiatives
  6. Tracking and analyzing KPIs (financial and non-financial)
  7. Managing relationships with external partners such as FCA, auditors, and banks

Profile:

  1. Qualified accountant
  2. Experience in larger banking/FS institutions combined with recent hyper-growth FinTech (payments, lending, digital banking)
  3. Experience partnering directly with FCA
  4. Experience with complex structured and secured debt refinancing
  5. Hands-on in building scalable processes and controls from scratch
  6. Effective communicator, comfortable with internal and external partnerships
