Job summary

United Lincolnshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust in Lincolnshire is seeking an Associate Director of Finance – Financial Improvement to lead cost reduction, productivity, and financial transformation across a large NHS organisation. The post requires CCAB qualification and extensive NHS finance experience, with responsibility for strategic financial leadership and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

CCAB-qualified accountant with NHS finance experience.
Experience leading finance teams and driving financial improvement.
Strong knowledge of NHS financial regime and governance.
Masters level education or measurable experience at masters level.

Responsibilities

Lead the development, implementation and delivery of financial improvement, productivity and efficiency across a £1.1bn NHS organisation.
Provide strategic leadership for the Cost Improvement Programme (CIP) including monitoring and delivery of savings.
Lead the costing function and submit National Cost Collection data and service line management information.
Present complex financial information to Board committees and external stakeholders.
Develop and mentor high-performing finance teams to enable continuous improvement.
