Purpose and Scope

As a key member of the Management team, this is a strategic role in the overall management of the company and have primary day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related activities. This includes but not limiting to direct responsibility for accounting, finance, overall cash flow management, forecasting, strategic planning, tax, deal analysis and negotiations, investor relationships, partnership compliance and institutional financing. The incumbent will also oversee corporate functions for Internal Audit & Risk, HR and IT. This role will be based in Binh Duong, Vietnam.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership in the development for the continuous evaluation of short and long-term strategic financial objectives
  • Direct and oversee all aspects of the Finance & Accounting functions of the Company and Group
  • Oversee and evaluate the Group funding requirements and capital structure
  • Manage processes and policies for financial forecasting, budgets and consolidation and reporting to the Company and Group
  • Provide recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities
  • Ensure that effective governance and controls are in place and ensure compliance with applicable local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting
  • Responsible for ensuring the risk and compliance management framework is embedded and operational for the Group
  • Establishing and developing relations with senior management and external partners and stakeholders

Qualification, Skills and Experience

  • Degree in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent
  • Minimum 15 years of relevant working experience. Working experience in Vietnam’s Real estate industry will be highly advantage.
  • Experience in Vietnamese financial reporting and accounting standards (coupled with experience in Singapore accounting standards is a strong plus) Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization and with staff
  • Strong problem solving and ability to exercise sound judgment to make decisions based on accurate and timely analysis
  • High level of integrity, result orientated, prioritization and time management
  • Good spoken and written English
  • Relevant Professional Certificate
