Finance Director (#2) – FinTech

Up to £150k basic (depending on experience) + options

Talentedge is partnering with a well-known FinTech scaleup on a Finance Director role. This is a newly created position, and the company has successfully hired three team members since bringing finance in-house.

As Finance Director, you will collaborate closely with a leading FinTech CFO to develop a top-tier finance function supporting international growth.

Your main focus will be overseeing daily finance operations, with a particular emphasis on FP&A and enhancing Board reporting and analytics.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading budgeting, forecasting, planning, and KPI analysis reporting
  • Developing complex financial models and business cases for decision-making
  • Overseeing pricing strategies for products
  • Supporting equity and debt fundraising activities
  • Partnering across departments and managing external relationships
  • Mentoring and developing the finance team

Profile:

  • Qualified accountant with 8+ years PQE, with experience in rapid-scale FinTech
  • Mathematically inclined and data-driven
  • Strategic thinker with curiosity
  • Effective communicator, adept at cross-team collaboration
  • Experienced in advising and influencing senior stakeholders
