Job Type: Permanent

Due to ongoing growth, this family-run business is now seeking to appoint a Finance Director in a newly created position.

Reporting to the MD and company owner, this is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Finance Director to facilitate further growth and explore new business opportunities.

The organization has a strong reputation and a national presence (no international operations) and has remained profitable throughout its history. The industry requires a strong focus on cash flow. They operate a complete business model, manufacturing, selling, renting, and maintaining capital goods, with rental and maintenance being their largest growth areas.

Responsibilities
  • Offer insight and guidance at board level
  • Support the sales process and champion margins
  • Develop a KPI suite
  • Improve processes and systems
  • Represent the business with external organizations (banks, auditors, advisors, investors)
  • Be responsible for all statutory reports and HMRC returns
  • Review and present management reports
  • Work with Operations and Sales to develop comprehensive forecasting and budgeting
  • Provide leadership and development to the small finance team
  • Drive financial knowledge and collaboration
