Job summary

Michael Page is seeking an experienced Finance Director based in Thame to lead financial operations for a growing SME. The role blends governance with commercial insight, shaping strategy and improving processes to support ambitious growth.

You'll partner with leadership, oversee reporting, and drive system improvements while managing cash, working capital, and multi-currency activities. The ideal candidate has ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualifications, strong UK GAAP knowledge, exceptional Excel modelling,

Qualifications

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.
• Experience in a similar senior finance role.
• Strong knowledge of UK accounting standards.
• Excellent Excel and financial modelling skills.
• Experience with international trading and multi-currency accounting.
• Experience with accounting software such as Xero, Sage, QuickBooks or similar.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Finance Director Key Responsibilities

Commercial Finance

• Provide financial analysis to support strategic decisions.

A successful Finance Director should have:
