Job description

Keeler Recruitment is exclusively supporting a high-growth, internationally backed business in Norfolk with the confidential search for a commercially astute Finance Director. This is a key appointment at a pivotal stage in the company s journey, offering full ownership of the finance function and the opportunity to influence strategic direction, operational performance, and long-term value creation.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director and working closely with the Group CFO, this role requires a hands-on, forward-thinking finance leader. You will oversee all financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, statutory reporting, internal controls, and cashflow management, while also acting as the main point of contact for group-level reporting requirements. A strong understanding of IFRS, group reporting, and regulatory compliance is essential.

You will lead and develop a small but growing finance team, and play an active role in supporting business decisions through insightful analysis and effective business partnering. As part of the senior leadership team, you will contribute to wider commercial strategy, operational planning, and investment decisions.

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with at least 5 years post-qualified experience in a senior finance role, such as Financial Controller or Finance Director. You will be commercially aware, technically strong, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Experience working with group structures or PE-backed organisations will be advantageous, as will a track record of improving financial systems and processes.

This is a high-impact role offering the chance to shape a finance function in line with best practice, while also supporting future growth and professionalising internal reporting and controls. There is clear scope for long-term progression for an ambitious individual looking to step into a broader leadership role over time.
