loc8me is seeking a Director of Finance to join the senior leadership team in Loughborough. You will oversee financial strategy, reporting, controls, tax, and audit readiness, and you will manage cash flow, funding, and capital allocation to support growth.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in senior finance leadership roles, preferably within property, lettings, or a related service sector.
• Strong leadership and people management capabilities with experience managing finance teams.
• Track record of successfully implementing financial systems and driving business performance.

Responsibilities

• The financial strategy and long-term financial planning.
• Owns financial reporting, controls, compliance, tax, and audit readiness.
• Manages cash flow, liquidity, funding, and capital allocation.
• Provides financial insight to support strategic business decisions.
• Drives profitability, performance management, and sustainable growth.
• Owns the year-end process, statutory accounts, audit relationship and Companies House filings across all group entities; ensure timely, accurate statutory reporting.
• Responsible for corporation tax and VAT — including the agent-versus-principal treatment of utility and ancillary supplies, and management of any historic exposure. Coordinate external tax advisers as required.
• Acquisition financial due diligence
• Integration of acquired entities' finances
• Funding/banking relationships

• Provides financial insight to support strategic business decisions
• Drives profitability, performance management, and sustainable growth

Details:

• Hours of work: 8.30am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday, inclusive of an unpaid lunch break of 60 minutes each day,
• 40 hours per week
