Malaria Consortium seeks a Finance Director to oversee financial strategy and operations in London. This impactful leadership role demands a qualified finance professional with a strong track record in global finance, ensuring the organization's financial health and strategic growth. The successful candidate will work closely with senior management and the Board, contributing to meaningful health outcomes across Africa and Asia.

Our operations span 15 countries across Africa and Asia, where we work in close partnership with governments, communities, and global health actors.
Through our distinct integrated approach - bringing together research, innovation, and large-scale implementation, we influence policy and practice and strengthen health systems.
We are now looking for an experienced individual who shares our passion for health equity and has a track record of leading high-performing finance teams across global organisations. This is a unique and impactful leadership role, working closely with the Chief Executive, the Global Management Group and the Board of Trustees (particularly the Treasurer and members of the Finance, Audit and Risk Committee), to shape the financial strategy, safeguard financial health, and ensure stability to enable Malaria Consortium to deliver on its critical mission.
The Finance Director will combine both strategic vision and hands-on oversight, leading the global finance team in developing and implementing financial policies across the organisation, from planning and budgeting to regulatory compliance and financial control.
Our ideal Finance Director is a highly experienced and strategic finance leader, with a strong track record at CFO or equivalent level within complex, international organisations. The successful candidate will bring the credibility to act as a trusted partner to the CEO, while engaging effectively with the Board and senior stakeholders.A fully qualified member of a UK-recognised accounting body, you will be commercially astute and analytically rigorous, and committed to building and leading a high-performing finance team, modernising systems, and delivering timely, meaningful insights to support decision-making across the organisation.
With strong interpersonal and communication skills, you will bring clarity, professionalism, and cultural sensitivity, able to operate confidently and collaboratively across diverse contexts and geographies. Above all, you will be closely aligned with our organisational values of accountability, integrity, respect and equity, and will understand finance as a strategic enabler, playing a central role in shaping Malaria Consortium’s future growth and impact.
