A multi award-winning global creative agency is looking for a commercially savvy Finance Director. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for their first FD position or someone already operating at that level.

Reporting to the COO, and partnering as the right hand person to the business unit MDs, you will help deliver their financial targets while improving and optimising financial processes.

The role has a heavy commercial focus including client commercial negotiations, but will also oversee statutory and regulatory requirements for the UK and middle east entities.

Finance Director - The Role

• Lead the UK & middle east finance functions
• Oversee the day-to-day accounting, invoicing, payroll, cash management and internal financial reporting
• Manage and develop a team of 5 both locally and internationally
• Produce financial reports demonstrating the performance of the business against KPIs
• Manage the financial reporting for the organisation. This includes monthly financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting inclusive of supporting commentary
• Lead all commercial analysis within the agency, working closely with senior members of the client service team and Head of Departments to improve commercial understanding across the business
• Utilise strong data analysis skills to provide sound financial support and insights to enable the senior executives to make critical business decisions
• Presentation of financial results and insights to the C-level executives and be a key day to day partner for the MD in each office
• Support the future strategy and contribute to the management and development of the business

Finance Director - What are we looking for?

• Experience of working in a senior finance role within a creative or marcoms agency
• Qualified accountant - ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent
• A strong personality, passion for the job and ‘can do’ attitude
• Possess good judgment and foresight and ensures accurate data analysis
• Flexible and goal focussed with the ability to step away from the numbers and engage with senior management and non-financial disciplines

Finance Director - The Package

• Salary up to £110,000
• Hybrid working - 3 days in office
• 25 days holiday and Christmas closure
